I graduated with my LLB from the University of Alberta in 2003, following which I practiced in the area of civil litigation for 10 years. I have appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia as well as the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal.

After a twist of fate, in 2016, I founded my practice with a focus exclusively on fertility law. Since then, I have had the privilege of helping hundreds of families grow. Few things are more rewarding than meeting these children after they are born or receiving a long-awaited birth announcement from a client.

I have guest lectured at the Peter Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia on the topic of fertility law, and, together with other legal experts, medical professionals, and other stakeholders, was a committee member of the BC Law Institute's Review of the Law of Parentage of the Family Law Act, which had a goal of legislative reform regarding parentage through assisted reproduction.  I am also a member of the Canadian Fertility & Andrology Society.

Every agreement I draft is tailored to the unique circumstances of your family-building journey.

By the time you sign, you should have a clear understanding of both the legal framework and the language of the agreement itself. Just as importantly, you should feel heard, supported, and confident throughout the entire process.

My fees are competitive and offered on a flat-rate basis, so there are no surprises. You will know in advance exactly what services are included and when fees are charged.

My goal is for every client to feel confident that they received excellent value for the services provided.

For French speaking clients – my French immersion schooling has given me semi-fluent French reading, speaking, and writing skills!
